Ridgid Miter Saws

Ridgid makes some very nice miter saws and usually they are priced less then the big boy names. They have the same power and features, including table size. I have always been a big fan of the Dewalt, but lately I have preferred the Ridgid miter saw. I started using the 12″ slider and really liked the way it felt and went through the Oak wood I was cutting.

Even though the saw cost less then the Dewalt, it handled just as well. The saw had been used a lot, but everything thing on it still felt nice and tight, like it just came out of the box. Again I love the Dewalt, but I have to say the Ridgid miter saw is starting to turn my head.

Ridgid Miter Saws come in the standard models a 10″ and 12″ sliding and double beveled. They have the same power as the other main manufacturers harnessing a 15 amp motor which is more than enough for any job.
